Security Operations – SRS

SRS is a Department of Energy site currently in the missions of safely and efficiently operating SRS to protect the public health and the environment while supporting the nation’s nuclear deterrent and the transformation of the Site for future use.  SRS is recognized as a long-term national asset in the areas of environmental stewardship, innovative technology, national security and energy independence, which acts with an inspired workforce and mature, efficient management processes, while sustaining public confidence in our people and capabilities.

With the increasing need for energy resources and efficiency, the DOE has a long term transition plan in place reviewing all the strategic sites looking where resources can best be leveraged.  UGT’s involvement currently involves SRS in SC, Portsmouth Facility in OH, and recently Oak Ridge in TN.   Our commitment to the support of the DOE is long term and spans the entire IT solutions vertical and various aspects of nuclear, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
